LEO-Pipe in general
LEO-Pipe® is a system guaranteeing reliable leak detection and leak location for liquid and gas pipelines. With monitoring the product loss due to leakage can be avoided and therefore the costs and risks for the respective enterprise due to the environmental hazard can be minimised. The leak detection system will be installed in the operator station of the controlled pipeline and will be continuously monitored for leakage.
LEO-Pipe® is based on computer-aided analysis of conventional measuring data such as pressure, flow and temperature. Therefore leak monitoring with LEO-Pipe® does not require any additional measuring device or sensor cable.
LEO-Pipe® does not only meet the requirements of TRFL ("Technische Regel für Fernleitungsanlagen"), but also complies with the recommendations of the API 1130 Standard API 1130 Standard (American Petroleum Institute).
