MAGNUM was one of the first companies to take part in the development of alternative propulsion units and stationary energy sources based on fuel cells. Test facilities for low-temperature as well as for high-temperature fuel cell systems have been realised using as test items fuel cells such as PEMFC, DMFC, SOFC or MCFC and reformer. Furthermore, with these test stands it is possible to accomplish component and/or subsystem tests as for example APU.
